Project Pan Update OCT 2018 + empties

First, EMPTIES!

Skinfood Body Butter- I LOVE this so much, would repurchase if I've tried enough body butter. The mango citrus-y scent is so good.

another Skinfood product, i really like to try their skincare, cuz it's very natural and affordable :3, however this Mud Masque it's not my tea, it can be a bit too drying. So if you have really oily skin you might like it.

DECLUTTER/ Empties- A lavender oil and tony moly  eye primer

PROJECT PAN UPDATE Sept 2018

First of all! i have finished my Frankendation and Bronzer~ YaYY

Therefore for my base product, I'm moving onto this concealer palette i got in Taiwan last year, and i had already hit pan on the green and peach color. Hope I can finish the palette in a year's time. ^ v ^

Also i have purchased new lip product. One is ColourPop's Satin lip in Darling. It's a vampiry plum red. it just looks lighter in color because of the sunlight. and the brown- tone very moisturizing lip stick is Catrice's Blessing Brown collection. When i was drugstore shopping in Malaysia I couldn't pass the pretty gold tube with decoration of waves. plus it smeelllllls like chocolate and it's super moisturizing. it's like a brown tone balmy lipstick. I really love it. If i ever need to make a list of makeup i brought without being influence, this would be totally in it! <3 <3

meanwhile, i have finally decide to declutter this inika highlighter creme that i depot into this container. for it has totally dried up, it's alright, i brought it for $5 and i think i have used the value for it enough. BYE-BYE. I'm for sure a powder type product girl

And here's a proper update on products I actually want to finish~~ it's a gone or toss by end of december. It seems like i have go thru 2cm, which is a good progress i say.

Project Rolling Pan 2018 July Update

I have skipped June update because I was so busy lately. Anyway I did manage to finish a few products.
Cougar Moisturizer and Glow Lab Micellar Water.
Glow Lab is a new brand launch this year in NZ, after using it I would say Essano's micellar water is still my ultimate choice if I had to pick one.

I also finish my EGLIPS powder HUraaYY WWW
I will be rolling in a new powder Innisfree no sebum powder

Karen Murell lipstick update... Almost there!

Laura Geller powder

PF Bronzer.... almost there!!

Inika Highlighter- Slow but making progress

Why am declutering- NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Abu Dhabi

This lip product is one of the most hype affordable some time ago. Knowing and being influence from YouTube +have been wanting to get a nude brown lip color I brought one to try (I wanted London initially but it was sold out, this color is near the nude range anyway. At first I don't really like it at all, it's sheer, and accentuate my lip lines a lot, maybe because it's rather dryibg, after using more, I found out that it works well when layering with other lipstick to make an opaque color. Meanwhile I put up a post in Otago Flatting Goods to sell it a lot cheaper than the price I brought. Months later a young girl pop me a message wanting to buy it. At that time I have already forgot I was not happy with the product, nevertheless I am happy the price can do someone a favor, and I can continue on my journey finding a new nude lip that will suit me. Sayonara.
Swatch on Asian skin tone, I'm kinda around the neutral type skin I think

Makeup that I want to toss by the end of the year

By the end of this year, I'm going back to Malaysia, to my home country. So I want to clear up as many items I have. These few things are the items I want to clear out even if I did not manage to finish them up.

  1. Elf Mineral Eye Primer- Had this for two and a half year, actually it's kinda dry out but I keep adding the inglot duraline to revive it once in a while.
  2. TonyMoly Eye Primer- Same condition as the elf primer
  3. Frankendation- I could have used this up asap but I keep adding moisturizer to make it blend better because it gets thick over time, so it somehow felt like never ending lol
  4. Prestige Mascara- I know a lot of people are like 3 months for a mascara shelf life, but so far I have used mascara for more than 6 months -1 year until it REALLY went out then I only toss it. Despite I felt like it could still last me maybe another 3 months but since it's quite a large tube if it did not die by November I gonna say bye bye.
  5. Sunscreen- I had this for one year half and still haven't finished it, partly because of the scent and the texture is too oily for my liking. So recently I have been using this as part of my routine for moisturizing my face and neck so it has slowly gone down. However, I would never know if I would have a second thought going back to the sunscreen I like better so this will end up in my bin if I can't manage to get through it.
  6. Tiny bit of Inika highlighter- To be frank, this is dry out pretty bad and very hard for me to pick up product with a brush. So I have been mixing with inglot duraline bits by bits to make it creamier. But given I spent $5 on this product, I felt like I have got the best used out of it. I'm merely trying to finish the little leftover because of my -try not to waste- attitude lol.
That's all for now... it's sort of like a diary to keep to myself... am not feeling very motivated today but tries to do something... oh well...

Project Rolling Pan 2018 May Update +Recent Empties

Hi all, it has been a while and I have been working hard on using the same products as constantly as I could. There are a few staple products that I want them out of my collection by the end of the year and some of them I won't be heartbroken even if I decide to throw them out! (finally! ) Anyways, let's get to the products that I want to update on. :)

Firstly, the Frankenstein shadow I mentioned in my last update has finished!! One more empty pan to my collection :D
I also finish some skincare yay

My PF Bronzer... I just hate how hard the product is =3=... Anyways there is always progress on it because I used the fine end tip of the brushes I used to scrape for every use to get more out of it. If by the end of the year it's still alive I gonna toss this for good.

EGLIPS Oil Pact Powder- Meanwhile chunk of powder does slowly crumble, especially the middle, all that being said I still have a good use out of it. :))

Inika highlighter- I finally found a way to use a small brush to apply this highlighter, but I can't put too much otherwise it looks like a streak of color on my cheekbone lol
*NEW ADD IN*- Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Foundation Mini in Fair- 1.8g

This baked foundation is very light on the skin when sometimes I feel like for a simple base look I will always go for this. It is a bit hard to use the product because it's so small and my powder brushes are so large, nevertheless, I do enjoy using it. It can be a little powdery so I figure I probably could finish this up by the end of the year. Hopefully.

Zoeva Joy in a Box- Haven't been using this shadow enough lately because I have so many neutrals in my collection now and has been testing out all sort of tones of brown and realize how browns can varieties so much!

Canmake brown eyeshadow- I was using it consistently for a bit and switch to love my other shadows =v=.... I kinda wonder if I could finish this by the year-end... oh well, no pressure on this.

LL Brown shadow- I can't believe I didn't update on this lol, one of the reason is one huge chunk is gone because it was mixed up into my PF bronzer, anyways, I'm thinking to use as a contour x bronzing after PF bronzer die.

There are a couple more shadow I would like to update on but the photos turn out to be rather blurry and I'm too lazy to care about updating those two shadows which is the champagne and the gold from LL palette. So.... yea

I forgot to mention this is my current to finish up brow pencil (which is actually an eyeliner that is too rough for my eyes) Since I have been using every and sharpen like once a week, should be gone by the end of the year, hopefully. I can't believe why I did not mention this product in my precious update =. =...

Honorable mention- Honeybee Gardens Blush that has a dip despite my blush collection is getting bigger and love are spreading wide...qwq

Elianto Nutri Recipe Toner Review

I went back to Malaysia and have a couple spree, one of the things I bought is a toner-
Green Tea Purifying and claims to be Oil control+ Anti-oxidant. Elianto was having some raya sale i think and this is sold for rm10 only~ (*^▽^*) It doesn't have a lot of product @150-200ml but for the price I think it's worth it. Packaging is good enough and appealing. The smell is very pleasing and I think it did a good job in cleansing the face after using a cleanser (as a second phase). The product is not very watery nor jelly it's like around 5%of jelliness haha.  Overall I enjoy this product very much and if it's still on the shelf I'm keen to try their flower-something ones ( forgot what's it's call)

Hope this small review helps!

Cheers

Project Rolling Pan 2018 April Update

EGLIPS Oil control powder pact- Feb and Now (2nd April) I slowly clear out one side of the pan (*^▽^*)

Physician Formula Organic Bronzer, in mid-March, I accidentally drop the palette and shattered, meanwhile while repressing the product I add in some brown shades from Lily lolo eyeshadow to slightly darken the bronzer so the amount kinda increases for a bit, however it helps the repressed product having less hard pan too! I'm glad at least I have clear out quite a small "lake-sized" pan (*^▽^*)

My inika liquid highlighter I scrape the remaining that are hard to squeeze into this container, the whole product actually dries out and I have to rub it with my finger and pat on my cheekbone to use it, at least it's still useable but not easy to blend together with foundation etc.

Here's a random Frankenstein-shadow I used as a base- it's rather powdery so I figured to clear up this pan before anything else! Hopefully a month would be enough to finish it. I was wanting to finish up the brown shade in my Canamke trio but I happen not to reach for it as frequently as I used to maybe because it's not in my magnetic palette.

Blush review- Zoeva and Kiko

Hi all, here's a review of the blushes that I'm not too happy about it.
First of all it's because of the shades, it's not they are not usable, it's because they are too pigmented and I feel like i only need one nano gram for each application, literally that would take centuries to finish it. Second, it is very hard to blend it out. You can see in the second photo with the swatch.

ZOEVA Luxe Color Blush in Rush Rush, 8g

-The shade has a bit of fluorecent tone on my skin, very reddish and orangy

KIKO Soft Touch Blush in 108, 5g

-If Zoeva's fluorecent tone is abour 50% for me, this one would be 20%, it has more of a peachy undertone, it's wearable too. But I find it hard to pair with pinkish nude lipstick for everyday work makeup, which, I have purchase a NYX Soft matte lip cream in Abu Dhabi, a nudie lip color, hope it comes to my mailbox soon and will have to try pairing it!

The Kiko ones did blend for a bit, but the Zoeva's only slighly lighten a bit and the streak of strong color is still there..... I'm honestly thinking to declutter it :(

Plus, actually I'm eyeing Viseart's blush palette because I wanted a orange ORANGE (but not highly saturated) and PURPLE blush, love makeup.uk is having a sale of 20gbp off! I'm so tempted.... T _ T

 Hope this review helps when you are thinking to purchase the item! ; A ;

Living Nature Lipstick in Pure Passion Review

Hi all, here's a review of Living Nature Lipstick in Pure Passion. It is a mid-deep tone red for a super classy look, it looks good too when I was wearing white -T with jeans. It makes me feel like attention seeker...haha

The lipstick itself has some very tiny weeny sheen, the formula can be slightly drying and best apply lip pencil if you don't want to see a red streak around you mouth :OOO but since my lips are already on the drier side I always apply lip balm before anything else. It does accentuate my lip line (´_`) which makes me sad.... why can't the natural, green formula lipsticks be hydrating...
It can be applied sheer or layer up, the color is great. It's just sad that it feels hard to apply on ); A ; ) It can be a little streaky and needs some blending with brush or finger.

My Current Sunscreen- and Reviews

Hi all, this is a post about sunscreens I have been using for more than half year and ready to give my thoughts about it.

1. For body- alba BOTANICA Very Emollient Sunscreen in Pure Lavender- I bought this from iHerb about a year ago. Have I been enjoying it?... no. It's too "emollient" and appears to have a greasy texture. At first, I use it on my face, although it does dry out but it has a slightly sticky feeling which am not a fan of. Maybe you have a really dry skin you might enjoy this product. Overall it's a no-no for me...

The oil and the cream separates... which kinda yuck me out regards the inconsistency texture

2. For Face/ Makeup base- Bio-essence Bio Water Power Protect Cooling Sunscreen 50 SPF +
I bought this when I was in Taiwan and the staff in Watson recommended me after saying my skin is on the dryer side and not suitable to use sunscreen with alcohol (?) Anyways, I decided to take her works and I love it! It is on the mid-expensive side but Ihas really enjoying it so far. It sinks into my skin rather fast and I love the watery texture that leaves a smooth application. Will repurchase it when I get back to Malaysia! <3

Innisfree Eco Flower Tint Review- 4 shades

Hi all, here's a review of Innisfree Eco Flower Tint. I purchased 4 shades and all of them are just wonderful. They are named after a flower each and has a light floral scent to it. Basically, they are very nice, tho it's not like balmly-moisturizing, but after the color sinks in it does not accentuate my lip line, the longevity is considered good too. It won't be gone after eating and drinking.

I try my best to capture the photo and adjust the tone to have similar saturation.
  • Rose is a light red tint, nothing too over.
  • Azalea is very a pink color, just like the color of the real flower, since it's very similar to my lip color, there's nothing too special but very suitable for every day.
  • Garden Balsam is very similar to Azalea, but slightly peachy tone, very suitable for normal use too.
  • Calendula is the most pigmented of all, it's like a fluorescent tone orange, look super pretty when creating a gradient look. Looking for a fun/ cool choice? This is the way to go.

To add some touch, you could apply lip balm to create a glossy, natural look.(^▽^)

Prestige My BIGGEST Lashes Mascara Review

Hi all, here's a short review os this Prestige My BIGGEST Lashes mascara. I know packaging can be important to some people but it doesn't really bother me lol. Anyways, it is a hot pink tube and has 13.6ml, which is quite a lot and around 7nzd, very affordable. The formula can be slightly watery at first but it will get better after opening. Honestly tho, it doesn't give VERY BIG Lashes. Not a lot of fiber, no volume at all.... the best job it does is separate the lashes very well and no clumpy. Since it's not waterproof I would not recommend applying on the lower lash, the PROs would be:

  • it does not flake
  • very easier to remove ( I use Micellar Water on a daily basis)

Overall it gives a very natural looking effect but doesn't hold my Asian eyelash well... haha, moreover the brush is as big as my eyes and would get on my eyelid if I'm not careful. Worth trying, but not the best.
