Serious Skincare Cosmetic: Pencil Eyeliner in Green Tea Review

Serious Skincare Cosmetic? The name's Serious Skincare and they came out with cosmetic ( that's right) I'm not sure if this is a well-known brand or still working out in the market. Eyeliner is something I love very much but a lot of them smudge crazy on me and I have brought some stupidly useless eyeliner before that make me give up by only putting eyeshadow and nothing else. When I was looking in strawberrry.net again ....orz, I saw this eyeliner selling in great price about 6.80nzd while it's original price is about 20 something, as I look more into this product and I found a company from Australia they do free shipping so I thought why not test it out given the price and free shipping LOL *my weakness point* However I'm still a little disappointed D:

I'm glad at least it's not tested on animals :)

the ingredient list

The packaging is so lovely with flowers...so alluring, I love products with nice packaging XOOO

What it claims: Soft texture, effortless to draw without pressing too hard. Unfortunately those are lies TAT

tiny weeny tip
I WAS SO SAD when I happily try it on my hand, not a single line came out !! I was like "omg, what have I done with my money!" It tug on my eyes and nothing show! Where's the creaminess it claims!! sadddddddddddddddd............
Still...I look up on internet for solution to find a way to use it: go get a lighter. Warm this thing up so it can slightly show it's usage...
Color: It's like super dark green that almost looks like black color :/
The staying power is pretty good, the right one is being rub hard with water, so it's ain't waterproof and I tried crying with this on and it will came off on the tissue by pressing gently as to soak your tears but it's smudge proof it won't go under your eyes. At least I found a pros of it...orz once you put it thru the lighter and line your eyes it stays and won't budge. If you want to make smokey eyes with it you might have to warm it more, but careful too much you get will melt it.

I would say it's natural on my eyes, my only complain would only be I hate how I spend money on an eyeliner that is not creamy at all. D: If the company see this review I hope they could send me more products to proof that they are serious about their cosmetic too! Instead only skincare :/

TONY MOLY Face Mix Eye Primer Review

Why I need eye primer? Because it makes color more brighter, vibrant and stays better. :) And I has a bad habit of rubbings my eyes for nothing, and I think putting on make up has actually at least tried to save me from this habit lol. If you are a fans of korean makeup you probably know such item as primer are not too cheap unless you found a bargain with discount online. While I was hastily waiting for my Elf Mineral Eye Primer I went around shops in Sunway Pyramid and brought this TONY MOLY Face Mix Eye Primer. Retails about RM32.xx

A simple sleek and sturdy tube of 4ml product, I'm not sure if the packaging is transparent or not, but the color of the tube is same as the product.

It doesn't comes with box nor ingredients list :/
shelf life is for 1 year

A decent tip, pinkish nude of the product. This thing smells so HEAVENLY!! It smells like coconut, I wonder did they put in coconut oil. But the whole texture it's not oily.

It has no sheen, no sparkle...just great! Compare to Elf's it's much creamier but once you spread out and tap it around your eye lid it leaves it as smooth as silk~~
At first I brought it because I saw good reviews of their previous Berry Girl Eye primer, but I guess it was discontinue. I don't know how was the berry primer feels like, but I think this is good as well! It did not crease on my eye lid and stay pretty well for a normal day's time. :)

For photos to see how well the primer works for powder eyeshadow see in this post---> https://artistinbeauty.blogspot.co.nz/2016/05/lily-lolo-laid-bare-eye-shadow-palette.html

I saw this eye primer being sold in Lazada etc, and the price is better thou you have to wait for delivery. But there's a few packaging of this product which kinda confuse me. One that comes in metallic flimsy cap instead of the white cap I have. Not to mention too the writings on the packaging was so different as well. Despite of getting fake items, I rather spend a little more to get them in the shops.

That's all! Thanks for reading!

Elf Mineral Eye Primer (Blush) Review

Eye primer is something very difficult to be found in Malaysia, especially cheap but good ones (but now I heard that essence eye primer is superb! never check them out at Watson thou). After I get to know more about Elf cosmetic + they are available in iHerb, I made a purchase instantly. Actually I used to thought eye primer were colorless based cream-product, but when I receive this I was so shock! IT'S TINTED BROWN and GLITTERY ! I was a little sad about it at first, but after using it quite some time I slowly grow fond of it.

It blends well, smells ok, like how mineral should smell lol. All good. Although it states that it's 3 months shelf life because it's paraben-free, but I'm having it like 6 months now it still works perfect for me.

Product design: Opaque, unable to see how much is used up :/

label below

Doe-foot applicator, very nice to use.
before blend

after blending, you can see some very small sparkle
Overall it's a very good product, I'm not sure how long it could last, I have slightly oily eyelids and I guess at least it last for 6-8 hrs, regarding after I rubbed my eyes sometimes and the color still stays. If you are lazy you could use this like cream eyeshadow because it has a bit of color. To me the color of the brown doesn't make too much differences after blending out, I have to admit they look very natural on my skin tone.

Thumbs up!

YoungBlood Mineral Rice Setting Powder Review (Medium)

Setting Powder!
My thoughts for it:
  • translucent
  • thin layer color
  • oil absorbent

I heard stories like how the old makers of SK-II's hand were so young while their face is wrinkle because the essence of the rice were absorb into their hand tissues lol. So I kinda believe that rice is a naturally good ingredient in all sorts of alternative excluding diabetes from eating too much white rice lol. My sister once read to me part from a story like how the boy comment that the girl is so beautiful so he suggest by putting this powder would be enough for her. Flattery!

This products comes in three shade: light, medium and dark. I just pick medium because I think it's the safest choice, Fortunately since it's a setting powder, I don't have to worry the color won't be able to match my skin tone. The good thing is it matches, just a very tiny bit brighter but not a problem :)
Simple plastic design of black lid with the brand's name in bold words

Cons of powder product//such a mess.../ .. \, the holes of the packaging is just SUPER HUGE.
Pros// Longer shelf life because there's no water

photos taken under natural sunlight beside window
KLCC and Pavillion have YoungBlood Cosmetic outlet, the packaging is different from what I have. This is the older version. Although I brought this from Strawberry.net last July.

apply with powder brush or kabuki brush
Overall it does it's job well for a bargain at RM55+ during a sale given it's made of good ingredients, it does leaves a smooth silky feeling on your skin. But if you only only this directly on your skin and nothing else, I believe you need to reapply them thruout the day, but whose gonna bring that mess around - _ -. My thoughts, go get their pressed ones.

Physician Formula Organic Wear BB Cream Review

BB Cream was one of the least product I ever want to try, because my impression of it is "sticky, oily and cakey". However I was wrong, I guess the miracle is up to one's skin type. After making more research about organic and cruelty-free cosmetic, I came across PF. At the same time Watson starts to sell them too, but they only carry CC Cream when I visit. The CC Cream has a rice grainy feel and I heard that the BB Cream is better? So I check out iHerb and brought it!

I'm glad my skin tone is still under the category for their shade. PF has a lot of great product, but when it comes to foundation etc they doesn't carry much color. I'm a bit tan, so I pick the light/medium shade.
morning lightning from window

The coverage is normal, so it doesn't feel thick on your skin, it works well to cover up some redness my face have. Also it's not oil free, so if you want of a matte look you can set it with powder. I usually will tho, because my complexion looks brighter after putting on my rice setting powder + I have a slightly oily T-zone, putting on powder will give you more benefits. The texture of the cream is great, and blend-able too. I love how it comes with SPF20 regarding I'm not into getting more tan.
Although I have read an article about how thick you have to apply in order to really show the SPF effect, anyway it's better than having naked skin towards the sun! With the dry air in NZ has made me love this product ever more, moisturizing is one of the greatest factor for this product as well. Besides, it can be wash off with face cleanser (I use Innisfree Green Tea Cleanser), all too well for a lazy girl who loves makeup.

Lip Ice Tinted Lip Balm Review

Lip balms were the ever first item I hook on and have finish a few, I just like the feeling on my lips. After using a few normal Lipice flavor (lemon, apple etc) when I found out that there's something called tinted lip balm I went to check them out immediately. So here's what I got during a sale at Watson, buy 1 free 1.

(left) Soft Poppy Pink//(right) Soft Baby Pink
The Smell
  • Soft Baby Pink is strawberry flavor infused, a decent sweetness. Love it.
  • Soft Poppy Pink is raspberry, honestly to me is like "...ew" taking a doc's medication - _ - It has a tiny wee bit weird sweetness.
The staying power is so-so as well, it's just a lip balm, don't expect too much tho. The raspberry's color is deeper compare to the light pink ones, you can just differentiate them from the packaging

before application

after putting on soft baby pink, it's much more of a natural everyday look.

swatches on hand (above: baby pink// bottom: poppy pink)
Talking of texture, I'm disappointed for the poppy pink. Can you see the differences of smoothness or so in the photo? You can observe that the reddish ones has a grainy surface, and yes, it's GRAINY. It has some kind of exfoliate, coarse particle in it, which when you apply on you will see small particles sticking on your lips =_= It's super uncomfortable YO. So what do I do with it? As a body moisturizer and cheek tint! Haha!

Will I repurchase? Nah, I'm more into trying to get into organic, cruelty stuff now if I could find good bargain.

Canmake: Your Only Lip Gloss Review

My ever first LIP GLOSS! I was kinds addicted to makeup since I feel "transformed" by my friend's magical hand, who had makeup classes before. I received this product from the goodies bag from the KLCC Beauty Expo as well, I still have 2 eyeshadow from Canmake I have yet to make a review after I have use them enough. Canmake has already release this magical-lip-color transforming product some times ago, which 01 comes in transparent gel-liquid, and 02 that contains sparkle. Since it was their new product release session, everyone got the new 03 that looks like a warm-tint -purple shade. I was quite skeptical about it at first because I know that "pink" is Canmake's line in terms of products, and putting bright pink on my lips just freak me out. Plus, with 03's purple-ish look it is agreeable that it will turn your lip color deeper. In terms of packaging everything is nice, I just hope that they put a note of the product volume.
Comes in a Pink doe foot applicator

Apply at first
After a few minutes

Talking of texture it's really good, not too sticky, just great. Regardless of staying power it's just so-so, after having meals, the glossy effect just fade off eventually, only leaving a pinkish tint as you have apply tinted lip balm or sometimes tiny dry-residues on your lips. The down side is you have to let it set, you need to wait for it to dry at the same time giving a couple minutes to turns into "your only lip's" color. For times when I just want a hint of color I would just apply on my inner lips, apply left over bb cream on my lip's line and spread the lip gloss with lip balm (that's a lot of lips word lol). It will look like those soft korean-style gradient look, which is so alluring.

On their website, they said the color changes depends on the moisture of your lips, I have not face any problems with color changing so far, but having a lip balm is essential as a base if you want to make it last.

This is not so much of an everyday look, but if super pink is your favorite look, you might as well try it.

Will I purchase this? I have a liking to lip gloss but not this, for I just place an order for Sleek Lip Palette!

Essano Rosehip Oil Review

Body/ Facial oil has became quite popular these years, since I just finish my Melvita kit set, as I saw this was on sale I immediately grab one. I have eczema on my body, sometimes when I'm too lazy to use the oily prescription given by the doc i just rub a few drop of this. It's not greasy and the skin absorb really fast ( it will show a bit a yellowish look when applied). I really like the feeling of it. Almost finishing this, I gonna try on Apricot Oil and Argan oil. I tried a few times on my face, not much of a comment yet because my body need more oil than my face does.
Comes with a dropper

Yellowish smooth consistency oil
