Canmake Pink Blushes

I receive these blush from a lucky draw to Beauty Expo in KLCC last year, they were releasing their new product. They came in a goodies bag of makeup cost about RM200 ( one of my best day in my life). As you can see i love that gel blush a hell lot, I use it almost everyday, can't wait to finish it asap! I love cream blush after this due to having dry air in NZ, it's very moisturizing on my skin. I was thinking to get ELF Runway lip palette because I love how the concept of "killing two birds with one stone". However it's nowhere to get it unless you live in the States...so sad...

I don't use this gel on my lips that often so I'm not sure about the staying power on lips. I can only tell the color looks good and refresh on my cheeks but not on my lips. Since I'm a bit tan this fresh pink just freaks me out on my lips. As for the smell it's a wee bit a faint candy floss. Cute, I haven't tried Canmake' s famous cream blush that came in a round packaging before, but I tried to swatch in shop and i think this gel ones is much more softer in terms of texture and you rub a bit with your finger it just melt nicely for application. It comes with a very tiny mirror, it's only 1cm x 3cm big, to me it doesn't seem too useful...

Lip & Cheek Gel in 03// Matte & Crystal Cheeks 01

The gel blush is very pigmented and spread out nicely. You can put small amount first then a little but more if you want to create some gradient effect. It kinda has a bit transparency lightness :)

Canmake Matte and Crystal Blush. To be honest this is not so much of a favorite. The brush is soft and good but very hard to pick up the product. The matte ones (right) is so HARD, you need to apply a couple times if you want a very obvious color on your cheeks, well, unless your skin tone is super light. Sometimes I would just use my flat foundation brush lay flat on it then rub it against the blush to pick up a better amount. If you wanna a to go simple quick thin color, this is the perfect item for you. As the shiny ones on the left is more softer to the matte, it doesn't have any color payoff, i would use it as a highlighter because it doesn't show up any of color except some sparky sheen. Cute and nice design but I would prefer some softer powder products... this is going to take so long to reach the bottom..

Lily Lolo Laid Bare Eye shadow Palette review

I brought this from Naturisimo, a UK online retail that provide free delivery with any purchase. They have 10% off once in a while and I brought it during that time. I had it for about 6 months now and only started  to use it more frequently because i went out more often. This is good for daily simple looks but I don't really like how most of  the colors are quite ashy. However i was digging into wanted to own an organic eyeshadow  palette and this is the cheapest and the style that's I'm looking for (I mean the packaging and numbers of colors included, instead of just quad) as I just started doing makeup and wanted to play more with stuff. An eyeshadow palette is definitely a thing to have. I kinda sad that they release another one with brighter color as soon as I brought this :(
there is pink and a nice bright ivory in that palette!! UGH. I want those color more than this honestly. The shelf life of this product is 1 year, but usually people just keep until they ditch...but I'm gonna finish this off. Not a fans of keeping things too long for nothing. It comes with a dual-end sponge tip applicator, it's quite tiny, about 9cm. At first the feeling of it is quite stiff, but after using and washing it a couple times it kinds became a little bit soften. Personally I think it's a decent applicator, i would usually use the wider ones to apply base color, it picks up the color quite well, plus that the eyeshadow are quite creamy too. Love it.

Color from left to right: Stark Naked/ AuNatural/ Skinny Dip/ Shy Away/ Lady Godiva/ Birthday Suit/ Exhibitionist/ Exposed
without primer
(the weather is quite gloomy today...taken under natural light  from my window)

with TONY MOLY Face Mix Eye Primer

The texture of the colors are good, soft and slightly creamy, easy to blend and apply. But the payoff isn't so well. I do wonder is it because my skin tone is kinda tan :/ Probably this is design for the Whites lol. I would recommend to use to primer for it if you want things to look a bit more brighten.

My Impression of the colors
Stark Naked: A matte low tone quite ashy beige

AuNatural: A sheen sparkle light mousse light brown-beige, like tree trunk under exposure

Skinny Dip: Another ashy light brown, I haven't use  this a lot because the color of it is not too much difference from Au Natural, it's just slightly more ash-ier. It doesn't show much as it's too similar to my skin tone too :

Shy Away: One of my favorite in this palette, it's a much more warm brown than the previous 3 colors, and lovely sheen too :)

Lady Godiva: Gold color was never on my list, i wanted to try some orange tone color, but anyhow I have to say that this is one of the best color in this palette too, and the color payoff is so much better than most of those

Birthday Suit: A matte neutral tone brown, not too cool, not too warm, the just right middle brown that I would use for my eyebrows too

Exhibitionist: A cool olive brown, slightly darker than the previous color and comes with bits of sheen

Exposed: This black is not so pigmented as I would imagine :/ Again, it's a very ashy low-tone color. Not like jet-black or ivory black those like of stuff. ( sorry I' a painter :P) If i have to compare this with my ivory black oil paint, this color lose for sure. But at least if you use primer the color shows a bit more better. This also comes with small sparkles.

The Matte color I mention are not absolutely matte, compare to alima pure's matte eyeshadow. They have some little sheen but not a super big deal if you don't mind.

The staying power is not super strong. When I start using it i only put on the lightest on my lid, and at the end of the day after rubbing and touching it seems there's nothing on my eyes except some sheen which i think is the mica. But it's good for me when I'm too lazy to use too much cleaning products to remove my makeup, lol.

Skincare Review:Random Cruelty Free Stuff

Hello! Welcome to my lazy blogging again. Today I'm gonna share a few stuff I use recently. Nothing too special but they just works well on my skin. :) Mostly because the ingredient used is good for skin!

Natural Instinct Clarifying Toner.

Australia came up a lot of organic stuff and this is one of those. I brought this during a clearance in Antidote (NZ) for 2$, which quite worth it. The whole thing is just like water, nothing sticky or whatsoever, so you must use a cotton pad to apply. I used it to clean my face after using micellar water and face wash. Just to ensure my makeup is totally off. Since it contains witch hazel and orange flower, it has a small burning sensation on my face, but compare to Lelan Vital it's still acceptable, but if it gets into eyes you will feel stinging.

Beautycode Super Lash and Brow Serum

I got this stuff around rm30+ in Cosway during a member sale. It's totally worth trying! I'm not sure if my lashes got longer but i feel they kinda got denser. Overall there's nothing much to talk about it. It comes with a small tip brush looks like tiny eyeliner brush and the product is a bit jelly-liquidy like, if you apply too much at a time you will see small white flakes on your lashes, you can just swipe them off, not much of a big deal.
