After I got hooked on makeup, I saw a lot youtubers used gel liner. But finding a organic whatever good gel liner seems to be hard. And pencil liners are one thing that will smudge in whatever occasion, so I pass on my nerdy dream of trying every single pencil eyeliner. As I was looking around in ebay I saw this brand The Saem that I never heard of, a korean brand. Those were listed bit more cheaper than tony moly eyeliner and they are paraben free etc. Although there weren't a lot reviews online but I'm urge to give it a try, so I brought it!
The packaging is very similar to the Tony Moly ones, but I have never tried that so I'm not sure compare to the texture of The Saem ones.
Although in a lot makeup tutorials people will do waterline to make the eyes look more natural, but I dunno why with this having it on the lash line kinda makes me feel satisfied already. Thou it meant to be waterproof, but seriously this thing can't hold on my waterline, whenever I was applying, if it goes over bottom of my lash line, even if I have set 2 layers of powder underneath my eyes, they still do smudge, but if it's only on lash line then it can hold thru the day perfectly =w= The formula is soft, but it can dry out very fast during application... thus the brush got harden cuz of the eyeliner as well....sometimes I mix it with the Inglot Duraline to make it more liquid for smoother application.
Overall it's a good gel liner, but for me a person who is too lazy to wash brush almost everyday just to apply eyeliner, I'm eagerly wanting to try Beyond Gel Liner Pen.... but till I finish this first... orz
