Sept 2019 Makeup Progress Update

I know I haven't made any update on how I have used my makeup lately... although no one might care...! But I love seeing how myself have been doing. Given that I have started to buy makeup again lately, I thought I should make some updates regarding my current state and progression so far. 

Was focusing on the canmake brown shadow, but apparently I made some dip on other two, tho not actual, I think I dig bits out and make my own shadow. Which I would never do that gain unless its'on it's last life

Apieu Yoon Charmi concealer palette- I go very light on base makeup so I basically use this as foundation then powder to set. I use the green shade as brightening on cheek and forehead. because my nose gets oily easily so I seldom put it on my nose tho wanted to do it like how youtuber does =3= Hopefully can finish one more shade by the end of 2019

Since it was too long ago I have made any update, I have actually use up a dark brown shade :)

Mix one with another shadow (A), using a filling eyebrow sometimes and as a contour/bronze, since it blends out very well

(B) is Lady Godiva from Lily Lolo, I love using all over my lid then use a darker color on outer V

Which same goes to (C) and (D)

(E) is also a mix up shade for setting the eyebase, because the formula is very powdery I should able to hit pan soon :)

psssh I made a purchase of Tarte Magnetic palette that comes with a mirror finally! After eyeing for so long lol, I can earn the money back anyway :P it's not like am using my credits to but stuff and paying off at the end of the month!

Project Pan Update OCT 2018 + empties

First, EMPTIES!

Skinfood Body Butter- I LOVE this so much, would repurchase if I've tried enough body butter. The mango citrus-y scent is so good.

another Skinfood product, i really like to try their skincare, cuz it's very natural and affordable :3, however this Mud Masque it's not my tea, it can be a bit too drying. So if you have really oily skin you might like it.

DECLUTTER/ Empties- A lavender oil and tony moly  eye primer

Project Rolling Pan 2018 May Update +Recent Empties

Hi all, it has been a while and I have been working hard on using the same products as constantly as I could. There are a few staple products that I want them out of my collection by the end of the year and some of them I won't be heartbroken even if I decide to throw them out! (finally! ) Anyways, let's get to the products that I want to update on. :)

Firstly, the Frankenstein shadow I mentioned in my last update has finished!! One more empty pan to my collection :D

I also finish some skincare yay

My PF Bronzer... I just hate how hard the product is =3=... Anyways there is always progress on it because I used the fine end tip of the brushes I used to scrape for every use to get more out of it. If by the end of the year it's still alive I gonna toss this for good.

EGLIPS Oil Pact Powder- Meanwhile chunk of powder does slowly crumble, especially the middle, all that being said I still have a good use out of it. :))

Inika highlighter- I finally found a way to use a small brush to apply this highlighter, but I can't put too much otherwise it looks like a streak of color on my cheekbone lol

*NEW ADD IN*- Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Foundation Mini in Fair- 1.8g

This baked foundation is very light on the skin when sometimes I feel like for a simple base look I will always go for this. It is a bit hard to use the product because it's so small and my powder brushes are so large, nevertheless, I do enjoy using it. It can be a little powdery so I figure I probably could finish this up by the end of the year. Hopefully.

Zoeva Joy in a Box- Haven't been using this shadow enough lately because I have so many neutrals in my collection now and has been testing out all sort of tones of brown and realize how browns can varieties so much!

Canmake brown eyeshadow- I was using it consistently for a bit and switch to love my other shadows =v=.... I kinda wonder if I could finish this by the year-end... oh well, no pressure on this.

LL Brown shadow- I can't believe I didn't update on this lol, one of the reason is one huge chunk is gone because it was mixed up into my PF bronzer, anyways, I'm thinking to use as a contour x bronzing after PF bronzer die.

There are a couple more shadow I would like to update on but the photos turn out to be rather blurry and I'm too lazy to care about updating those two shadows which is the champagne and the gold from LL palette. So.... yea

I forgot to mention this is my current to finish up brow pencil (which is actually an eyeliner that is too rough for my eyes) Since I have been using every and sharpen like once a week, should be gone by the end of the year, hopefully. I can't believe why I did not mention this product in my precious update =. =...

Honorable mention- Honeybee Gardens Blush that has a dip despite my blush collection is getting bigger and love are spreading wide...qwq

Rolling Project Pan 2018 Intro+ Rolling in from 2017! +recent empties

2017 has ended! I have finished some products and a few of the products from last year is still going strong. I'm making this a rolling project pan because there are quite a few products will be gone very soon in terms of consistency in using them. Here're the goals I have set for now:

To Finish

1. PF Bronzer
2. EGLIPS Powder
3. TM eyebrow Pencil
4. Pacifica Primer
5.  Frankendation
6. KMurrell Lipstick

I will roll in some other product, but they won't be my main goals to hit pan/use up now, even they are, I'm not planning to use them consistently just to reach my goal. I won't be having any unrealistic goal for eyeshadow because I love experimenting with looks <3 But I do set goals for very basic shades like setting color and crease etc. otherwise i will only put eyeshadow into my project if I planning to use them every day.

Canmake Brown Eyeshadow: not a lot of progress, haven't used it much

PF Bronzer: still going strong after two-years omg. hopefully will die by June 2018

KM Lipstick: Long time no update on this one because I wanted to give love to my other lipstick too. I do use this more than the others, but it is a rather dry formula to use during cold weather. If I have use every day it should be done, but I did not ..hahha

EGLIPS Powder: YAY HIT PAN!! I'm so happyyyy <3 Hopefully more pan appear soon by June~!

Finally making another empty post...I think I have a lot to update tho no one is really looking at this blog of mine lol
anyways this could serve as a kind of diary to see what kind of products i had been using all this time ;)

 A: Nature Republic Rose Hand Cream
Very Moisturizing, love the subtly sweet and fresh scent, my mom gave this to me before I left Malaysia www. It's the first time I finish a hand cream.

b. CC Caviar 10 in 1 Complete Correction 
A sample hair care I got from beauty box Look Fantastic, I dun really use hair stuff, but so far my experience with this is ok

c. 100 percent Pure Vitamin A and CoQ10 wrinkle smoothing night cream
Lovely citrus scent, a full-size gift purchase from last year, enjoy very much <3

d. SMART Antioxidants Fine Line Minimising Cream-Marada organic Skin care
Another deluxe sample size, face moisturizer, texture wise just nice, it has a tint of herbal scent, overall I do enjoy this :3

e. The Saem Power Curling Mascara

Finally decides to say goodbye after it can't give enough coating to my lashes. My first mascara, I didn't get hook at first hand, but after seeing the effects it gives to my eyes I start to have mascara as a regulation ^ w ^ good product but there's much more to try out there in the world ~

f. Cougar Rare Mineral Facial Oil

Nothing special to me lol, probably cuz it's not the right oil skin care for me

g. La Mav Lip Treatment/ Gloss

Finally decides to goodbye this too, smells terrible, I got this from someone else so maybe it has gone bad even it looks new, but it did not break me out whatsoever. nevertheless, I'm most likely to stay away from this brand at this moment.

h. Essano Rosehip Body Lotion

Nice scent, nice texture, nothing to complain about it except that I spent a lot of time to scrape out the rest of product that sticks to the side. Making me more aware of trying to get a tub=type lotion more in the future.

i. Madre Labs Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner

Probably the best value toner I ever had in my life, cost around 3 USD for 355ml, free of many harsh ingredients, smells awesome and refreshing, last me a very long time. If I'm living in USA I am definitely having this as my staple toner.

j. Skinfood NZ Exfoliating Scrub 

Nice, neat, easy to use, not repurchasing cuz I love trying new stuff! XD

K. Rosehip SPF15 Moisturizer

Nice, lovely, nothing to complain, but if you prefer watery texture this is not for u

L. Nourishing Moisturizer Skinfood NZ

Very creamy, has a citrus scent to it. Would consider repurchase if there's nothing better to try lol which I don't think that might happen. As a whole, I really love this brand, hope they will come out with a great makeup remover solution for stubborn mascara and eyeliner. Not to mention, this product line is super affordable and great quality.

M, Cleans All Skinfood NZ

Has a herbal scent, cleanse nicely, it does give a moisturizing effect due to the coconut ingredient I think, which that also helps to remove any makeup that is leftover on your face. The texture is more on watery side but it's all good <3

N, 100 percent Pure Brightening Tonique

I think I finish this long time ago but never update lol, nice stuff but overprice. won't repurchse. plus the citrus essence a bit too much for my skin type. a bit stingy.  

Empties #1 & mini reviews ** 2017

Hi guys! I have been collecting empties under the influence from Youtube lol 

Many times I like to try out products that are not overly hype, and don't received enough reviews. Although this will cause my page view pretty low D:

Anyhow, for the cause of curiosity and the spirit of seeking out underrated products, I will buy them if they are affordable enough or on sale :) 

To make things easier I had numbers on the products so it will help you directly to the thoughts I have for them.

1. MOR Hand and Body Lotion in Black Iris-
I got this off on sale on NZSALE. Given that the name is pretty cool (Black), I thought the smell would be cool, but in fact it is very sweet smelling. To the stage so strong that it will stick to your clothes. It is not super moisturizing, has a cooling effect when applied, spread out thinly, not too oily. Repurchase? No, I freaking hate the over strong smell.

2. 100 Percent Pure Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream-
Surperb. Nothing more to say other than the pricey.

3. Earth Science Chamomile & Green Tea Eye Makeup Remover-
Just an OK everyday makeup remover, does not remove waterproof mascara or stubborn gel eyeliner.

4 Blum Naturals Daily Eye Cleansing Pads, Aloe Vera-The cotton pad in it is very dry, I have to put on another makeup remover to use it. The texture of the cotton pad is very harsh too. Bad product, don't recommend. D:

5. Cococare, 100% Natural Moroccan Argan Oil
Nice for both face and body, but better finish asap because it's a natural oil.

6. By nature Purifying Facial Cleanser-
A super bang for your buck natural face cleanser, does not form bubble when used+1 . It comes in a gel-texture, infused with coconut oil etc, so it leaves a very moisturizing effect afterwards. With almost 9NZD or sometimes 7nzd when on sale for 255g of product, as you don't need much at one time, this could last you more than 6 months. Highly recommend.

7. 100% Pure luminous primer-
Good sturdy luminous primer, making your face a smooth canvas for foundation. No rolling up tiny balls those kind of issue. :))

8. Jason Natural, Quick Clean, Makeup Remover, Fragrance Free
A much better version of the Blums'. The cotton pads are smoother, are well soak with products and does the job for melting everyday makeup. But still, waterproof makeup cannot be done.

9. Cougar Beauty ALOE RETINOL FACIAL SERUM-
An Aloe Vera based serum with Hyaluronic Acid. It says soften and tone on it, I'm not sure if my skin need toning but I do really like the feeling when applied. It absorbs into skin very face and very refreshing. Got it on clearance for 5NZD in NZSALE. It is only 30 ml so if you if it twice a day it will be gone in 2~3months. I checked their website and they have renew their packaging. When I buy this product I have never heard of it. However since it is free of many harsh chemical I decide to give it a try, and I will say it's totally worth it!

10. Cougar Beauty PRO AGE NIGHT RENEW SERUM-
This is also Aloe Vero based, on the bottle it says "repair and refresh". I don't really see the difference with the one mention previously. But I did think my skin feels clearer after using, although this doesn't help with some weird red spots i had since I came to NZ.

11.Beauty Without Cruelty, Eye Make-Up Remover, Extra Gentle-Another good to go daily makeup remover. Does not remover waterproof mascara or eyeliner   ):

A random update/ sharing products that I have finish up in 2016~~

Some products are not in this picture:

• Finish about 3 lip balm, throw away one

• A few Innisfree sample size skincare and full size Green Tea Seed Serum, finally thoughts on the serum, it's good, but after I have tried a bit more skincare products I wouldn't repurchase this either, although at first I do feel it's a great product nonetheless.

• Innisfree Green Tea Face Wash- I finish off a bit later than it's expiration date, and there are some grainy particles leftover when I open the tube, I feel so OH EUGH, it's not disgusting but when used it certainly felt different from when I first got it.

• 100% Pure Dark spot remover- I brought this around Aug 2016 I can't believe I finish within in a few months, I felt my money is evaporating = a= but anyways I'm not gonna repurchase this

• By Nature Eye Creme// 100% Pure Bright Eye Mask// Goodness Cream Cleanser// Essano Night Creme// Essano Facial Scrub// Essano Rosehip Oil// Instinct Toner 

• Essano Micellar Water- Great product with great price comes in generous amount of product. I have already repurchase this one more! :D It does remove non-waterproof makeup very very well.

 Canmake Yours Only lip gloss

Neutrogena Oil Free Makeup Remover-- this stuff really does remove gel eyeliner very well, but it dries out my eye area, there's like white flakes everytime I use it, kinda looking for better cruelty free alternative to remove gel eyeliner, otherwise I would't put on eyeliner orz

Honestly I can't believe how much items I've used up this year @_@ kinda overwhelming, but because of the dry weather in new zealand it's inevitable .... i do enjoy most product, but i enjoy more when my parcel always reach my door...haha XDD
